If DoubleDown Classic Slots is not loading on your Android device, there are a few basic steps we recommend. Many processes will vary slightly by Android device and OS version, but even if the instructions below do not exactly match your experience, you may find them similar enough to follow comfortably. For instance, some devices may offer a Force stop button instead of Force quit. If you are uncertain of any steps, please consult your device manufacturer's support site for precise instructions.
Note: Devices running Android OS 6.0 or below are not compatible with the current version of our app. If possible, try updating to a newer Android OS. There is no other workaround for this issue, and we regret any disappointment.
- Restart your device.
Turning the device off and back on is a great first step when you're having issues. Press and hold the Power button, then follow any prompts that appear to confirm the restart.
- Force-quit the app.
When you tap your device's Home button, the app you were using doesn't close, it just minimizes while continuing to run in the background. Force-quitting will close the app fully and let it start from scratch the next time you launch it.
Open the Settings menu on your device, and select Application Manager. Tap Classic Slots in the list of applications. Tap the Force quit or Force stop button.
If you’re still having trouble, you can try the following steps. IMPORTANT NOTE: Clearing your app data or uninstalling the app on Android devices will erase your current progress, credit balance, and history. Before performing this step, we ask that you contact our Customer Support department from within the app on your device so that they will have record of your current account. Upon relaunching/reinstalling the app, contact them again, from the same device and email address, and they can help restore your progress.
- Clear the app data and cache.
Android apps use a memory cache function similar to a Web browser cache. Just as clearing your cache for a website is useful for resolving loading issues, we recommend clearing your app cache.
Open the Settings menu on your device, and select Application Manager. Tap Classic Slots in the list of applications. Tap the Clear data and Clear cache buttons.
- Uninstall and reinstall the app.
Open the Settings menu on your device, and select Application Manager. Tap Classic Slots in the list of applications. Tap the Uninstall button.
After the uninstall process has completed, launch the Google Play Store app, and download DoubleDown Classic Slots for Android.
